Who We Are

Bubble Voice is a storytime app that lets families listen to picture books narrated in a parent's own voice or by friendly character voices. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Because Bubble Voice is designed for families with young children, we hold ourselves to a high standard for children's privacy.

Information We Collect

Account information. When a parent or guardian creates an account, we collect an email address and password (or your Google/Apple sign-in identity).

Family profiles. Parents may add profiles for their children, including a first name or nickname, age, and a chosen avatar. This information is provided by the parent, is only used to personalize bookshelves inside your family, and is never shown to other users.

Voice recordings. Parents may record a sample of their own voice. We store that recording and use it solely to create a personal narration voice for your family's books. Voice recordings and the narrations generated from them are private to your family.

Reading activity. We keep track of reading progress (such as which book and page was last open, and listening time) so children can pick up where they left off.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Bubble Voice accounts are created and managed by parents or legal guardians, who must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All child profile information is entered by the parent, who consents to its use when creating the profile. Children using the app browse and listen under the parent's account and cannot make recordings, purchases, or public posts. Parents can review, edit, or delete their children's profile information at any time from the account page, or by contacting us.

How Voice Recordings Are Used

To turn a parent's voice sample into book narration, we send the recording to our voice technology provider, ElevenLabs, which processes it to create a private voice model. We do not use your voice recordings for advertising, do not sell them, and do not make them available to other users. If you delete a voice profile, we delete the recording and the associated voice model.

Service Providers

We share data only with the services that run Bubble Voice:

• Supabase — account authentication, database, and file storage.
• ElevenLabs — voice processing and narration generation.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing, if and when you make a purchase.

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may delete voice profiles, child profiles, or your entire account at any time. To request complete deletion of your family's data, contact us at wattsjmw@gmail.com and we will remove it within 30 days.

Security

Your data is protected with encryption in transit, authenticated access controls, and family-level isolation in our database, so one family's private data is never visible to another.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
